Herb's Companions

Lime

The older of Herb's two companions, Lime is nothing to be sneezed at. Born with the blood of tigers, he posses a strength unparalleled by any other of his size or stature. How strong is he? Well, for starters, he's crushed Ryoga into concrete, thrown and caught massive boulders, and, towards the end of the Musk story arc, held apart a closing rupture in the earth's surface.

Suffice to say, Lime doesn't use many weapons in battle. His own fist is stronger then any object he could wield.

Unfortunately, for all his strength, Lime's got a major flaw: he's dumber then dirt. There are three year olds smarter then Lime. However, it would appear that as Herb's servant, he really isn't required to do much of his own thinking; how lucky for him. Simply follow his leader's commands, and crush anyone who attempts to get in his way.

Women, heh, Lime likes women. Having never actually met a gal until he came to Japan, like his li'l buddy Mint, he was very impressed. A bit on the barbaric side though, his approach to the opposite sex is like that of a caveman: slump one right over your shoulder and carry her off. He's also got this, ah, little thing for breasts. It's just a little thing really, the way Lime constantly discusses the idea with Mint, points them out on Ranma-chan, and starts to cry when Herb lost 'his'. Supposedly to someone who never really saw a female before, breasts were some sort of mythological construction. He's heard rumors of course, but never actually seen them before. Alas, Herb doesn't appreciate his interest, and blasts both Lime and Mint whenever they bring up the subject.

Lime can frequently be seen talking to his little buddy, Mint; together, the pair are inseparable.

Mint

With his blue/black hair and fur pelt, Mint is just about the *cutest* little wolf boy you could ever imagine. He's just sooo adorable, with his big puppy-dog eyes!

Statistically, Mint is the youngest of the "Musk" trio, and consequently looks up to both Lime and Herb. Blessed with an inquisitive little mind, he's very curious about the world around him; not that he ever seems to take in any of the answers. Alas, Mint, like Lime, runs a bit short in the wattage department. He just can't seem to figure out what those things on Herb's chest really are, or what to make of them. He occasionally calls them "fathers" due to a mix up with the Japanese homonym, 'Chichi'. Hence, like his older comrade, he tends to be on the receiving end of quite a few chi-blasts.

Mint's animal counterpart is the wolf, and through this he has inherited superhuman speed. His major attack is the "Ro Ga Ryusei Dan" (Wolf fang shooting star bullets). In the flash of an eye, Mint zips behind an opponent, throwing an array of knives that are pulled out so fast they appear to be coming out of thin air! He also carries a rather large Chinese sword. Mint was able to take out Mousse with the Ro Ga Ryusei Dan during their first encounter. However, he still needs a great deal of training, particularly in the mind o_0. During their later encounters Mousse took him out easy with a set of quick gestures and "hey, look at those breasts!"
